What is the 2024 Cleveland Fashion Gala?
The Gala is a joint charity fundraiser for the Sweetest Day Foundation and the David Njoku Foundation.
The goal of this event is to be the largest, grandest fashion show in Cleveland history and the first of
many galas to come. The Gala is being held at the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda.

When is the Gala?

The Gala is July 14, 2024. If selected to walk in the fashion show, you would be required to attend a
designer meeting in May, one or two mandatory rehearsals in June and the Gala in July since the
venue is used for a wedding the day before the Gala, there will not be a dress rehearsal at the venue.

Models will have a 2:00 pm call time the day of the Gala. However, hair and makeup service will being
earlier in the day offsite. You should expect to spend the full day downtown Cleveland. 

Will models be compensated?
Yes. This is a paid production. Additionally, hair and makeup will be provided.

Will there be a virtual casting?
No. There will only be one in-person model casting call on May 8, 2024.

What should I wear to the model call?
You should be dressed in black. Women should wear high heels, no less than 3 inches.

Do I have to stay for the entire casting call?
No. Models will be checked in and once you walk for the judges, you will be dismissed.

Do I have to come right at 6?
No. However, you must be registered and checked in no later than 7 pm.

When will I learn if I am casted?
A limited number of people will be given a Golden Ticket on the day of the model call. If you do not get
one, it does not mean that you have not been chosen. The remaining models will be selected and
notified within a week after the casting call.

Is there an age limit for participation?
Yes. Only models 18-years-old and over will be considered. Models of any age above the limitation will
be considered.

What should I bring with me?
Bring a comp card with you to the casting. If you do not have one, our staff photographer will take a
complimentary headshot.

Can I bring anyone with me to the casting call?
No, unless you need someone to assist you for ADA-related reasons. We are a fully inclusive show and if
you need any ADA accommodations, please let the check-in staff know when you arrive.

Are there any gender or height requirements?
No. We are casting all genders, all heights and body sizes. This is a fully inclusive show.

Will you accept walk-ins?
Registrations are full.  We will be unable to take walk-in registrations.

Is there a registration fee?
No.

Will models be required to sell tickets to the event?
No.

Will models be required to promote the event?
It would be expected that models would use their social media to raise awareness of the event.

Is there free parking?

Yes. There is a free parking lot across the street from the Ballroom at Park Lane on the opposite side of E 105th Street. Look for the Model Call Parking signs.

Are you willing to consider out of state models?

Yes.  The Gala is a world-class event, and we will consider models from any locale.

Are travel accommodations provided for out of state models?

As this is a charity fundraiser, we are unable to provide travel accommodations for any models participating in the Gala.
